Hello everyone,,, good to see things back up and running again!

I just thought I’d let you know that The Modern are playing Pride on Saturday on the dance stage.

If you’ve not heard of them they’re a 5 piece electro-pop band who are getting quite a following.

They’ve had two singles out; Jane Falls Down and Industry. Unfortunately, Industry was disquauilified from the charts due to alleged “sale rigging”. Si, sometimes plays Jane Falls Down in the indie room (well when I offer him sexual favours to play it).

They’ve just played London Pride, where they went down really well in the blistering heat.

Saw them at London Europride and they were amazing. Great costumes, the lead singer's got a gorgeous voice and the boys are cute too. They are so destined for the big time. My fave of theirs is Sometimes - it's gorgeous. Is anyone else gonna check them out in Manc?

Which is a shame, as I’d had love to see them playing to a big audience. Hopefully there’ll be another Modern Love night soon. Check their website and forum for more details. Their new single and video for Discotheque Francais are out on 17th December. Hopefully a number 1 for Christmas, well would you rather that or the X factor winner? Hmm,,,nuff said! Kevin
